As a true prog freak, I approached this outing with caution. A former singer from Threshold united with members from heavy rock bands like Running Wild & Human Fortress. I thought “oooohhh, not another heavy trash metal band.” After listening to this album, I must say I was pleasantly surprised. This album fares more progressive than I thought. No signs of growling, no signs of speed-chording, no signs of death metal. So, what is this thing called Yargos?! Well, it’s kinda Dream Theater, only they have some fabulous female vocals.

I have to be true to my ear, true to my original intensions. This is a fine album built with some very intense melodic heavy chords, spiced with the brilliant voice of “Mac” McDermott. And the musicians backin’ this are excellent. So I am very surprised as this is a quite superb album! I leave it up to you to explore the contents of this outing. All I can say is great surprise...great music...great vocals!!

Yargos - a band to keep an eye on! And I for one will give this one several listenings. I think Yargos deserves it! Great stuff!
