Mellotron drenched?? Oh, yes it is! Prog music supreme? Oh, yes it is!! Time changes? Yes and plenty of them! Derivative? Well, yes aren’t they all on some scale or another?! Do they make good? YES, you can bet your sweet prog a..!! Its a beautifully well-timbered album ...with very laid back tunes and singer Guidry´s relaxed voice somehow "swimming" on a surface of great songs, made of floods of mellotron, guitars, well laid bass and fine drumming!! This is just great !!! It all sounds familiar but still I haven’t heard anything like it !!! Sounds strange? Well then you just have to experience them for yourself. Deadwood Forest - a welcome addition to my (and any) prog collection. and the relaxed sorta acoustic feeling of it all makes your mind wander (wonder?) If that doesn't intrigue you...nothing will. Go get this fine album...it’s brilliant!!!
