This is where Hillage discovers funk, with mixed results. It's a lighter, poppier album than the previous two, full of short tracks with no extended 'suites'. But it's still good, mostly, with outstanding tracks such as “Searching For The Spark”, “Radio” and the excellent “Saucer Surfing” (I know, I know!). Whether you like Hillage's wide-eyed lyrical hippyisms, it's an upbeat, positive album and not to be listened to in a cynical frame of mind. Malcolm Cecil from Tonto's Expanding Head Band helps out.
