This is the latest release from Anti-Depressive Delivery and their sophomore album. This album rocks! It's like straightforward rock with some killer prog moments. The tracks are great, and there are no slouches.
“Starchaser”: Great opening track with some very clean guitar and bass sounds, nice keys, and great in-the-pocket drums. This tune never gets boring throughout it's 6 minutes. Great tune to get pumped up to!
“Desert Machine”: A darker tone sets the mood for this, with heavier sounds as the chorus sets in. Lots of Kansas-esc moments in here. Pretty much straightforward rock tune, but it's no slouch.
“Accordion Woman”: Continues with awesome drumming and playing by all. Awesome moments continue to excite and draw the listener in. Stellar keyboard solo comes in, then a surprise vocal entrance on the up beat. More verse-chorus format, but just rocks throughout.
“Terminal”: This tune continues on the same format, but is the first tune thus far that sounds dull. But wait! The chorus is a complete surprise quieter moment that keeps things interesting. Then repeats again. Filler mostly.
“Blood is Blood”: This is the longest track on the album, clocking in at around 7 minutes. Kicks off with outrageous bass and drums, plus killer guitars and keys. Really awesome bass line sets tune, followed by more instruments making subtle entrances, then great keyboard solo. More rocking, then things get relaxed and quiet down a bit. Great harmony vocals come in 4 minutes in for a relaxed finish. Great tune!
“We Will Crimson You”: boom boom clap drums, with guitar, keys, and bass scale line. Get funky (good funk), closes with cool moments. Good instrumental, and the shortest tune, at around 2 minutes in length.
“U”: The other filler track. Same old, same old.Better left off album IMO
“Undead”: Cool start, a quieter tune indeed. Very nice.
“Nothing New”: 2nd longest track, barely passing the 7 minute mark. Nice keyboards kick things off, with power chords and more tight drumming. The title sorta describes this tune, as it melds the album's moods and lines of some of the tracks together. Decent sum up/closer.
Overall, a good effort by this band. They really show they can play well. One thing great about this band is they're very tight, all welded shut by a great drummer and nice bass. I recommend this to fans of rock and roll, modern rock, and people who love great rock moments.
