Quidam can help raise your IQ by its intelligent music, thoughtfully presented. The music is classically based rock arrangements, and I always felt like I learned something about music after each listen. All lyrics are in Polish, but, like Hungarian, it's a beautiful language for music. The songs flow and follow the melody, always with something new and interesting to say. The themes are not necessarily Polish, but they definitely have a European feel to them using major chords, direct harmonies, and thick orchestration reminding me of much larger ensembles.

This album is in the league with other great female fronted bands like Renaissance, Magenta, Amarok, and Landberk. And their self-titled debut is even better, but after this they lost their lead singer Emila Derkowska and became another male fronted Polish neo prog band - still good, just not as special as they are in this release.
