If those who thought that 10cc’s debut album were weird, wait until you here their second album, Sheet Music.
For those that have listened to Sheet Music, know how fun of album this is to listen to. The songs range from talking bombs “Clockwork Creep”, the voodoo priest “Baron Samedi”, an acting dog, “Somewhere in Hollywood”, self-depraving “Worst Band In The World” and dance craze “Sacro-iliac”. But the fun does not stop there, the whole album takes you on a whirlwind ride that is even zanier then the band’s previous album, but unlike their debut, the songs have dated a bit better, and the music, as goofy as they are, are filled with more confidence.
Many might overlook 10cc as a “pop” band, but the bands cleverness reached its all time high here, and Sheet Music might be the 10cc’s most “progressive” sounding album.
Enjoy.
