This band are now sadly disbanded. But this effort which was their 2nd release on Cyclops was a real treat. The bass was the driving force here with its Chris Squire like lead lines. These guys were barely out of school when they released this album...but displayed a maturity beyond their years. Very Yes like with also nods towards Steve Hillage and The Beatles. The track "Tick a box" is driving prog with a great more subdued middle section.

"The Missionary" is a stab at evangelists who prey on people who are searching for something in life and ultimately give up their human nature to a set of rules. Remember these guys are barely out of their teens but show their promise as to even approach a subject like religion. If you like Yes, mid period Beatles or Steve Hillage give these guys a fair listen.....Not sure if Malcolm Parker (the guy behind Cyclops) has any copies left....but if he does, give this album a go.
